Happy Birthday Middlesbrough FC
Folklore tells us that it was 149yrs ago this evening that the club was born out of a meeting over a Tripe Supper at the Talbot Hotel.
Middlesbrough cricketers will say otherwise, they say they formed the club later in the year as they needed a winter sport to keep their players fit.
But we love folklore - Happy 149th Birthday Boro!!

Let's hope the Club,and older fans get a say in all celebrating Boro's great history from our Ayresome Park era, memories,pictures, music etc something that I feel is season on season is eroding away and sadly been forgotten especially 15 minutes before kick off 🤞
